Reiki

A Practice of Regulation, Awareness, and Holistic Integration
Reiki is a Japanese practice developed in the early 20th century by Dr. Mikao Usui and transmitted to this day through a living lineage of teaching and personal discipline. At its essence, Reiki is not merely a technique, but a cultivated way of presence, inner development, and conscious evolution.
At the heart of Reiki lies the transmission of Universal Life Energy through the placing of hands in direct practice, and through distant healing as introduced at the Okuden level, allowing the recipient to receive what is needed according to the wisdom and needs of their own system.
In contemporary understanding, Reiki may also be approached as a gentle, non-invasive practice that supports the body’s innate capacity for self-regulation and restoration of homeostasis. Through cultivated presence and steady contact, a field of safety is established, enabling the nervous system to shift from states of hyperarousal or withdrawal toward greater balance.
This regulated state is often accompanied by deep relaxation, internal stability, and the gradual release of patterns of tension held within the body.
Reiki functions holistically, addressing the four interconnected dimensions of human experience: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. These are not separate domains, but dynamically interrelated aspects of an integrated whole.
Through this process, Reiki supports not only balance and regulation but also conscious spiritual development and elevation, fostering deeper insight, clarity, and alignment with one’s authentic path.
When a person is in genuine contact with themselves, access to the roots of experiences, choices, and recurring patterns becomes more available. In this sense, approaching the “cause” is not understood as an external intervention, but as an inner recognition that arises through stability, embodied awareness, and conscious engagement.
Reiki does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic care. It functions as a complementary practice, supporting regulation, integration, conscious personal development, and spiritual growth.
